Sakarindr Bhumiratana is currently President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). He completed dual bachelor degrees with highest honors in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of California Davis in 1971. He completed his doctorate at the University of Wisconsin Madison, before undertaking a post-doctoral fellow at UW. He joined Chulalongkorn University before transferred to Department of Chemical Engineering at KMUTT. Sakarindr was appointed the Executive Director of BIOTEC-Thailand, before returning as Senior Vice President at KMUTT. He was then appointed as President of the National Science and Technology Development Agency. Sakarindr was a recipient of the ASEAN Meritorious Service Award and was accepted as Fellow of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology. He is currently member of the National Economic and Social Development Board, the Science Technology and Innovation Policy Agency, and the National Science and Technology Development Board.

Mr. Mai Thanh Phong joined Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering since 2007. Prior to coming to HCMUT, he was a Lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He received his B. Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, his M. Eng. in Environmental Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology - Thailand, and his Dr. Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg – Germany.
Phong's teaching interests include Chemical Reaction Engineering, Mass Transfer, and Transport Phenomena. His primary research interests are in the field of reaction kinetics, separation processes, membrane technology, bio-fuels, and modeling & simulation.
From 2008 to 2013, he held the position of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering. He set up the Technology Business Incubator at HCMUT and held the positon of Director from 2010. He was selected to be Vice Rector in charge of R&D and External Affairs of the university from 2014.

Br. Raymundo "Ray" Belardo Suplido FSC, PhD is the current President of De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila. He assumed the post on May 16, 2015. Prior to this appointment, he served as concurrent President and Chancellor of the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental (June 2007 to May 15, 2015).
Br. Ray currently serves in the boards of trustees of several Lasallian academic institutions in the Philippines. He is President of the Board of the La Salle College – Victorias in Negros Occidental; Chair of the Boards of Trustees of De La Salle Lipa in Batangas (since 2013), and the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde in Manila (since 2013); and a member of the Boards of De La Salle University, La Salle Green Hills in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, and De La Salle Araneta University in Malabon City, Metro Manila.
His involvement in other Lasallian institutions include serving as Chairman of the Board of the Lasallian Supervised Schools, Association, Inc. in 2013; and currently, as member of the District Council of Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD), and the boards of the De La Salle Science Foundation, Inc. and the 1911 Insurance Corporation, which are both based in Manila.
