有鑒於近年來環境急速變遷，產業不斷創新，高等技職教育前瞻趨勢攀升，同時，又面臨國內少子女化之衝擊及全球化與國際高等教育之嚴峻競爭，因此，本校特邀請來自美國、日本、泰國、中國大陸、菲律賓等地之姊妹校校長或副校長分別介紹其高等教育系統及概況，希冀透過此論壇之舉辦，提供國內外優秀大學校長對話與交流的平臺，分享其治校理念及因應上述各項挑戰之策略，俾利增進對於各國高等教育政策的瞭解，以達到跨國界的學術交流與資源整合，並使高等技職教育與產業界無縫接軌。

Due to rapid change of environment, innovation of industries, the trend on increasing of higher vocational education, the domestic trend of fewer children and intense competition of international higher education, Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science has invited presidents and vice presidents of sister universities from U.S.A., Japan, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia to share their overviews on higher education and the current development. In the hope of holding the forum, a communication platform for the concepts and strategies on school managing and dealing with the changes stated above will be provided for all the distinguished university presidents attending. In addition to providing the platform, it is also our purpose that the government policies towards higher education in different countries will be understood for achieving the seamless integration of cross-country academic resources of higher vocational education and relevant industries.
